Why We Need NHL Live! TODAY…

According to the NHL Network, as of July 9, 2008, the following is happening:

Sergei Fedorov re-signs for one year

Ray Emery has signed a one year contract with the Russian Continental Hockey League

Ken Hitchcock has signed a 3 year contract with the Blue Jackets

Chris Chelios, Stanley Cup Champs Detroit Red Wings, is still an unrestricted free agent

Brett Hedican, Carolina,  is also an unrestricted free agent as of this date…

See why we still need NHL Live! on?  EJ Hradek and Don LaGreca would have given us this information in an informative, yet entertaining manner.

Instead, us fans have to decipher the scrolling feeder board on the bottom of the NHL Network screen as a way to get our hockey news via television.  Bummer….
