As just reported on Versus, the Montreal Canadiens (aka “Habs”) have fired head coach Guy Carbonneau. He has been replaced by Bob Gainey, former General Manager.
The information was revealed during the intermission involving the game between the New York Rangers and Carolina Hurricanes.
