One of my readers, a Registered Nurse, has become locally famous for her video “Cal Stat Rap Video” on the importance of good hand hygiene. We all know how important good hygiene is, especially for tkr patients, so we thought it would be fun to pass this along….
It’s a musical video that addresses the need for hospital staff, patients, and visitors to use good hand hygiene as a way to cut down on pathogens (nasty bugs!). On 6/2/09 WBUR.ORG, the local NPR station ran a piece on Hand Hygiene in Boston Hospitals and her video was showcased on their website – and the rap played on the air.
