With over 20 years experience in the paid writing field, I figured it is about time to write a book. My past writing experience has included fields involving business communications, healthy living/eating, medical, retail, public relations – to name a few.
I also have written a natural foods cookbook series, ezines, blogs, and reviews of various sorts.
My goal is to share my book writing experience as a motivational tool for both myself and my readers.
WordPress is an excellent way to maintain a blog since it’s so easy.
Well…
I am a Midwesterner, born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, Michigan. From an early age, I’ve been a Detroit Red Wings hockey fan. I remember my mom listening to every game.
I watched many baseball games at Tiger Stadium, which is now just a empty shell. Sad..
My first priority in school (besides maintaining good grades) was band, since I started playing flute in 2nd grade. Many, many good memories. To this day, I entertain with my flute playing. I am working on a children’s project with my producer.
After graduating from high school, I traveled to Europe and visited my penpal. More wonderful memories:)
After returning from Europe, I was in a car accident which left me in a body cast. Not too many fond memories. This car accident left me with multiple injuries: closed head injury, fractured jaw, fractured neck, ribs, femur – and others. My fractured femur resulted in my needing a total knee replacement – 30 years after the accident.
Educationally, my background includes an advanced degree in business administration. I’ve completed the 5th year educational requirements for the CPA Exam – which I have passed. I worked three jobs to put myself through college.
I’ve always loved writing. Enough about myself for now.

Have a nice day !
Thank you! Same to you! Thanks for stopping by my blog.
Hi I love your writing tips, and i was wondering if you could see my blog I am new very new!
I found your blog while trying to get some answers to my continued knee pain 6 mos. after tkr. I really enjoy it–this is my first attempt at something like this.
I am a Penguins fan but I’m sure you won’t hold it against me (ha ha). Go Redwings.
Hi Margaret,
(just kidding)
I was going to hold you being a Penguins fan against you until I saw your “Go Redwings” statement.
It’s great to hear from another hockey fan!
Best of luck to you….
Hi -I am 10 months post right total knee and 2 years post total left knee -I am 61 years old -getting frustrated with onging stiff feeling in the latest knee – seems I am limping again -could it be the weather?? Lifting my 25 pound grandson?? – having to be careful walking on the icy walks??? Or a of the above -plus being overweight -I expected a steady improvement so this up and down scenario frustrates me!!
Hello: I appreciate your blog. My mother got a TKR 3 weeks ago and is suffering from alot of fatigue. She is 79 years old and I think really second guessing getting this done. She just has no energy. I just wanted to know if any of your fellow bloggers are a bit older and had the same symptoms and feelings. Take Care!
Hey Booktoots:
for PRE-TKR? Now that I have my surgery date I’m all about the prep. I think I asked this as a response to one of the existing blogs but sometimes I think people don’t read all the way to the bottom (like me! 59 comments wow!). And BTW – once again – this is the best blog!!!!!
Can you ask your readers to submit questions/concerns/tips/book recommendations/home prep/hospital stay prep/husband prep
For example that glider response was great – I knew there was a reason I kept the nursing chair even though my boys are teenagers!!
Thanks again,
Melissa
