I finally figured out how I can liven up the topic of being in a life-threatening car accident which resulted in multiple injuries. I will intersperse stories that have no humor in them with ones that do.
That way, instead of having my readers become downtrodden like they’re reading a book on economics, they will be able to laugh at the parallel absurdities.
The two opposite ends of the spectrum will at least help me in writing the book. I need laughter in order to move on to the next subject area. One can only think of a body cast for so long without getting depressed.
Writing tip: use humor to alleviate the seriousness of the subject area. Gain a different viewpoint. How profound. 🙂
