Here is a comment I received today.  Even though it is a comment relating a NHL Live! post I did, I thought it was relevant enough to reprint here.

It is from the NHL PR:

NEW YORK (Sept. 18, 2008) – NHL Live, the spirited, interactive talk show from NHL Radio dedicated to all things related to the National Hockey League, will return from its summer break on Monday, Sept. 22 at Noon ET, it was announced today.  The two-hour program can be heard live on NHL Home Ice XM 204.  Beginning Oct. 6, SIRIUS subscribers in the U.S. will be able to access NHL Live by purchasing NHL Home Ice and the NHL play-by-play channels as part of SIRIUS XM’s new “Best of Both” programming option, which features the top content available on satellite radio.  NHL.com will continue to offer audio and video simulcasts of NHL Live via NHL Network Online.

NHL Network again this season will simulcast the program in high definition in the U.S. and Canada and will televise encore presentations daily from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. ET.  Additionally, NHL Network on Saturday, Oct. 11 at Noon ET will debut Best Of NHL Live, a weekly one-hour program highlighting the best interviews on NHL Live from the previous week.

Hosted by Don La Greca and E.J. Hradek, NHL Live boasts comprehensive coverage of the NHL including interviews with top players, coaches, executives and analysts.  This season, a roster of hockey experts will provide timely analysis throughout the year.  Weekly contributors to NHL Live will include hockey insider Bob McKenzie and VERSUS/NBC analyst Eddie Olczyk.  Former Tampa Bay Lightning general manager Jay Feaster and USA Today hockey beat writer Kevin Allen will join the show periodically as special correspondents.  NHL Live originates from the NHL studio inside the NHL Powered By Reebok retail location in the heart of New York City.

Fans will continue to play a major role in the program.  Not only are they able to visit the one-of-a-kind studio located at the corner of 47th St. and 6th Ave. in Manhattan, but viewers and listeners are invited to submit questions and comments by calling 1-877-NHL-ON-XM
(1-877-645-6696) or emailing nhllive@xmradio.ca.  NHL Live is a production of NHL Radio.
